XLoadTree was only designed to work in Mozilla and IE55+. That it works in Safari but not in KHTML is a bit strange but I'm glad to hear that it works in Safari at least.
XLoadTree uses XMLHttpRequest or MSXML so that it does not work in Opera is a no brainer. Maybe in the next version of Opera?
About the icon: The icon comes from an early WebFX design that had a white box with a nave border around the word WebFX. It might look like some Microsoft product icon but that is just a coincidence.
