Hi,

Thanx for the fix, I am using the fix currently.

I am also trying to implement the idea described here

http://dotnetjunkies.com/WebLog/jking/archive/2003/07/21/488.aspx

I think this might benefit everyone using XMenu or XTree, and it should be built into them.

I am not great with Javascript so me implementing this will take a long time.

Hey

Internet Explorer use the standard windows drop down menu to implement the selectbox tag, thus it cannot be modified to a great extent, for instance you can't change the border of it or set the zIndex. If a page contains a selectbox it will _always_ be on top.
Your best bet is probably to hide all selectboxes, using something like the code below, when the menu is activated.

/* Hide all selectboxes */
var aElements = document.getElementsByTagName('SELECT');
for (var i = 0; i < aElements.length; i++) {
aElements[i].style.visibility = 'hidden';
}

/* Show them again */
var aElements = document.getElementsByTagName('SELECT');
for (var i = 0; i < aElements.length; i++) {
aElements[i].style.visibility = 'visible';
}

Hi,

The XMenu works great, except when the page contains selectbox. The menu appears below the selectbox, how can I make the menu the topmost layer or above the selectbox.
