Ignore my previous message. I just found out that the popups inherit the encoding of the parent document. My bad, forgot to propogate the encoding setting into the menu :|

Subject: Re:content encoding & DHTML Menu 4.28
I'm not sure what encoding a new window populated with document write is using. Can't you use entities instead?
I'm using DHTML Menu 4.28, and love it! However, if I use certain characters, such as ã, õ, ç, é, á, º, they're not displaying properly in the menus. Content-encoding is set to iso-8859-1, and the characters display fine on other pages within the application.
Any idea what to do about this?
Does the menu enforce a different charset?
Thanks in advance,
