I had a similar problem with menus opened off a menu bar.  The readyState of the document inside the iframe being used to calculate the menu's size wasn't "complete".  To fix this, I changed MenuItem.showSubMenu.

just after the line

sm._showTimer = window.setTimeout( function() {

I added a call to sm.getMeasureDocument()

getMeasureDocument initializes the iframe if it needs to, and when showSubMenus returns, the document is given an opportunity to complete before the timer expres and positionSubMenu is called.

I'm not sure if context menus work exactly the same way, but this solved a similar problem for me.

I had the same problem here. In IE 5.5 and IE 6... I've been using the context menu for one year almost and couldn't get the solution to this. It seems to happen when you're inside a frame.

any workaround?
thanks,
Matias

Hi all,

first of, like everyone else, I love this site. You guys kick a%$ !!!

One quick note...
I am using the context menu script from your site and it seems that there is a bug and I am not sure if it is IE6 or just in general. Anyway, the first time you right-click and activate the context menu it does not draw in full size but rather it seems to clip on the right and bottom by about 20 pixels. The second time and any time after this it works fine until you reload the page again.

Has anyone noticed this? Is there a fix out for this?
Thanks in advance,

Andre
