Glad to hear it worked out.
Thanks for the reply. The problem seems to have corrected itself now, it must have been an issue with my ISP or connection, after signing off then back on again all was fine. I can not reproduce this problem again. I am using xmlhttp.setRequestHeader('Content-Type', 'application/x-www-form-urlencoded');

Subject: Re:xmlhttp POST data limit?
I've used it with quite a lot of data without any problems. In which format are you sending it (x-www-url-formencoded or mime)? What kind of setup do you have on the server side? Is the entire string there if you check stdin? Also, if it's truncated the web server error log might give you a hint.
I am experiencing a major problem with sending data to my PHP script using the xmlhttp request object. I have a form with around 20 fields, I can send data to my PHP script but when I start entering more than a certain amount no POST vars are sent to my destination URL (PHP script). It appears as if over a certain data limit xmlhttp no longer sends the data.
I have no problem though testing on my local server, so is this a host problem of some kind?
Has anyone else experienced any limits when sending with POST? (I tried GET but it just crashes Mozilla and gives an unspecified js error in IE).
