- Why not just use window.opener?
You can pass variables back and forth as long as the popup-window belongs to the same domain as the mainwindow.

Hi everybody!!! Anyone knows how to pass a big number of variables using http with js? I want to get vars' values in a form and pass it to another (popup) window with another form and then pass another set of values to the main window. I can't use the URL (because the client doesn't want it)...

Another problem is that I have several forms that do this, so: there is a way to write a generic script that reads any form and pass the values? (like I explain before)

The ideal solution could be an associative index array, where each position is a name of a field in the form, js can do that?

Thanks everybody!!!! ANY INFORMATION WILL HELP (I'm really lost :) )

bye, Juampi
