Actually the JScript date object gives you this for free.
var oDate = new Date('10/4/2003');
Obviously, you can also write your own parser to trap certain cases.

Does anyone know of a reliable and configurable....basically a nice example of a date validation and masking. I require to mask user input into a HTML text field to form a properly formatted date value, for example 04/10/2003. The date format for those that can't guess is UK not US.
Does Bindows address this ?
