Here is a sample scenario:

master.html
   -- parent.html
      -- child.html

master.html contians an iframe (src=parent.html);
parent.html contains an iframe (src=child.html);
child.html contians DHTML Menu4

When viewing child.html, DHTML Menu4 works.
When viewing parent.html, DHTML Menu4 works.
When viewing master.html... the problem occurs.

It is a but in IE as I told you. If you can describe the rules for when this bug happens I can update the library to take these cases into account.
