Subject: How to layout efficiently in Bindows? From: Anastasios Angelidis Date: October 3, 2003

Here is what I want to achieve...

|------------------------------------------------|

|      L     |    Desktop Pane                                |

|      I      |                                                          |

|      S     |                                                          |

|      T     |-------------------------------------- |

|______ |_TASKBAR___________________|

This is what I have done. Thought it works it is ineficient and I might have discovered a bug...

1- Get an instance of the application window.

2- Create a Split Pane

3- Create a list and add items to list. (For left side of Split Pane)

4- Create label (container for Task Bar and Desktop Pane)

5- Add, List and Label (Container) to split pane's left and right respsctivly.

6- Create label1 position at bottom in label container.

7- Create label2 position at top in label container.

8- Create and add task bar to bottom label.

9- Create Desktop pane and add to top label.

This seems to be unecessary, but it works! Is there a more efficient way to do so? Also the bug is as follows... When I first launch the application or refresh it using the refresh button, the Task Bar and Desktop Pane do not appear until I resize the browser.

Thanks
