DOM stands for Document Object Model and since the content of the JS file is not part of the document you cannot acces it using DOM. If the file is valid JS the global namespace will most likely change due to the execution of the script. In that case you might be able to find some kind of info from it but you cannot get the text of the file.

You can use Xml Extras to read text files over HTTP.
