Is there anyway to have the menus positioned absolutely?  If it's a bug with IE, it's something I have to work around.  Any ideas?

That really surprises me. There is nothing in the pos lib that requires iframes to be taken into account. My guess is that it is a bug in IE (IE also has bugs with getBoundingClientRect when used with element behaviors).

I guess one could work around these bugs by identifying what IE does incorrect when using nested frames.
