Thanks for the update--unfortunately the problem remains. The menu is within SEVERAL framesets--the layout is roughly:

<frameset>
<frameset>
<frameset>
<iframe>
menu-button;
</iframe>
</frameset>
</frameset>
</frameset>
</html>

Yes, we are using DHTML Menu 4, including pos lib.

Are you using the latest version of DHTML Menu 4 (and the pos lib)? I've used DHTML Menu 4 in frames and framesets before and I find it a bit odd that you are seeing this behavior.
