You should be able to use document.readyState.

I have some interface problems. Frames call functions of the Menu4 widget, while the widget or frame is not ready loading. This gives me "missing object" errors. I am looking for a way, to know, when I am ready to call Menu4 functions.
For the frame I can put a variable isLoaded with the body onload. How is this with Menu4? Is Menu4 totally ready on a body onload event, in the case of using document.write(menuBar) ?
If not, how can I check, if Menu4 is ready painting the elements.
