Subject: TAB PANE: Sizing problem & setup method help needed...pleeease... :) From: Merlin Date: July 30, 2003

Hi guys...

The code:

        .dynamic-tab-pane-control .tab-page {
        height: 500px;
        width: 558px;
        overflow: auto;
        }

        .dynamic-tab-pane-control .tab-page .dynamic-tab-pane-control .tab-page {
        height: 100px;
        }

        form {
        margin: 0px;
        padding: 0px;
        }

        /* over ride styles from webfxlayout */

        .dynamic-tab-pane-control.tab-pane {
        margin: 10px;
        width: 580px;
        }

        .dynamic-tab-pane-control h2 {
        text-align: center;
        width: auto;
        }

        .dynamic-tab-pane-control h2 a {
        display: inline;
        width: auto;
        }

        .dynamic-tab-pane-control a:hover {
        background: transparent;
        }

        .dynamic-tab-pane-control .tab-page h2 {
        text-align: left;
        }

The problem...

http://beta.csafrica.za.net

I want to have it so that the tabs & content area fit into the window at all resolutions nicely with a 10px margin on the left, right, and bottom of the content area at all times.

I have tried solid for 3 days and am really stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem #2...

If you have a look at that webpage's code you will see that I have a bare-minimum Tab pane system running, a feat by my standards as this is rather complex to what I am used to...

Is the way I have done it good, or should I be using this method, and if so, why? (I may be using iFrames on the site soon.)

Example:

<script type="text/javascript">
tabPane.addTabPage( document.getElementById( "intro-page" ) );
</script>
