Subject: XTREE Target...Read your advice but still stuck! Help! From: Ant Rodgers Date: July 28, 2003

Like "Tudor" I too have an XTree in an iFrame, and I have tried to implement

var node = new WebFXTreeNode(...);
node.target = 'mainFrame';
tree.add(node);

but with no success. The iFrame itself is already within a frameset with a "top" a "Bottom" and a "mainFrame", but no matter what I do the links refuse to load outside of the iFrame. I have even tried setting the target to "_blank" or "_parent" but to no avail.

Am I putting the code in the right place? In the "tree" javascript file with the XTree content? When you say "node" do you mean to replace this with "a" or "1" or however we define each folder/item?

I realise I am probably asking stupid questions but any help would be really appreciated...the only action I seem to be able to make it take is to open an empty window from "javascript:void(0)" when I click to expand the folders...i'm pretty sure this shouldn't be happening.

Thanks        Anthony
