 xtree not filling frame when setting 2px padding, Redtopia, January 7, 2004

Subject: xtree not filling frame when setting 2px padding From: Redtopia Date: January 7, 2004

I'm trying to get the xtree to fill to 100% of a frame, but when I add a padding of 2 pixels, the vertical scroll bar is inset by 2 pixels from the edge of the frame. When I don't use the padding, the xtree fills to the edge of the frame correctly. Is there anyway to get the xtree to fill to a frame correctly, and add a padding to the xtree content?

Here's the frame code:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="xtree.css">
<script language="JavaScript" src="../Lib/xtree/xtree.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
</head>
<body marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" topmargin="0" leftmargin="0" rightmargin="0" bottommargin="0" bgcolor="##AAAAAA">
<div style="position:absolute; top:0px; left:0px; width:100%; height:100%; padding:2px; overflow:auto;">

...xtree creation code

</div>
</body>
</html>
