How to parse Javascript again after innerHTML copy from iframe to div, Voxen, July 12, 2003

innerHTML is a serialization of the DOM and therefore the initial state (source code) is not available.

Try using some other method to get the text content of the HTTP request.

When I load a page in an iframe and then copy the innerHTML to a div, the page is copied as it is after loading in the iframe. This means that the javascript blocks are not executed. Is there any way to make this happen? Ideally it should be like the page is being parsed for the first time in the div, and not in the iframe.
I can think of workarounds with calling some initializing functions manually after copying, but I'd like this to be as flexible as possible. Any thoughts are most welcome.
