About the extended characters, it worked great, thanks a lot.
About the menu, I think I couldn't express myself as I should, sorry... let me try again. I think it's possible, as what I need would have been done in the example http://webfx.eae.net/dhtml/dhtmlmenu4/webfxmenustructure.html (although I wasn't able to open the example, if it is as the webfx's page's menu as it is said, it does the trick). What I need is a button just like the "home" button at http://webfx.eae.net/ .

You cannot have a menu without a menu. This is not supported and will not be supported in the future. Please reconsider your UI design.
You can use extended characters. I've even used Chinese in the menue. Try using the XML entities and or the escaped js string format "\u00A0"
