Just remembered: using XHTML 1.0 strict. Could this be the cause for IE to fail?

OK, the code generated was not valid XHTML 1.0 strict. I modified it so that it now is, but IE still doesn't like it.

Hope somebody has come up with a solution...

Hi folks,

Noticed that there aren't really many topics covering XMenu on this board. Still I hope somebody can help me:

I can't seem to make XMenu work in IE 6. I get a JScript / CSS / ??? error: Line 1, Char 1, Error: Object expected, Code 0. I have determined that menu build goes fine. I can even alert(myBar), but once the menu is on the page (document.write(myBar)), these errors start popping up. At first they are finite (about 20) and the menu displays just fine. But, if I click on one menu item to open it's submenu, the errors start popping up again, this time infinitely.
I have noticed a call to simplifyCSSExpression() in webfx/webfxlayout.js (on the site, not in the one attached to downloads). Does this function have anything to do with this problem?
Using xmenu.js and xmenu.css. Works fine in FireFox 1. I wish the XMenu widget would also have a download with all the required files.

The code to generate the menu is straight from the web site (I hope). Just a bunch of "new xxx" and ".add()".
