Thanks, It's working that way. The problem was no the width of the DIVs, what happened was that I was using a gradient fill for the DIVs

filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Gradient

And aparently, that overrides pretty much any other setting you use.

That code works for me like you want (IE6)

Ill take a guess and say that you class navBotonOff has set the position to absolute or relative.

The width therefore is only the width of the image and the anchour not the whole width of the page.

So the only clickable area is the hyperlink and image.

Example with mouseovers

Code:

<div style="position:relative;background-color:#C0C0C0;border:inset 2px;height:60px;">
<div class="navBotonOff" style="width:100%;position:absolute;" onmouseover="this.style.backgroundColor = 'red'" onmouseout="this.style.backgroundColor = 'transparent'">Width Set</div>

<div class="navBotonOff" style="position:absolute;top:20" onmouseover="this.style.backgroundColor = 'red'" onmouseout="this.style.backgroundColor = 'transparent'">No Width Set</div>
