 Window showModaldialog HELP, Logan, January 26, 2004

Subject: Window showModaldialog HELP From: Logan Date: January 26, 2004

Can anyone help me fix this problem?  I'm trying to get this preview function to work correctly, but I'm not so sure if this is the best way to approach it or code it.  I trying to avoid having to create another HTML file that will be called within the window dialog. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

My code so far:

<html><head>
<script>
function Test(wordText){
window.showModalDialog('javascript:document.write("'+ wordText +'")','WinObj','dialogHeight:400px;dialogWidth:600px;edge:Raised;center:Yes;help:No;resizable:Yes;status:No')
}

</script>
</head><body>

<form name=frm>
<textarea name=txta cols=50 rows=20>This is a test</textarea><br>
<button onclick=Test(document.frm.txta.value)>Preview</button>
</form>

</body></html>
