Netscape 6 and IE 5 both W3C DOM compliant?, Jay Smith, December 1, 2000

The sample is not even W3C DOM level 2 compliant. I guess the author just forgot to check the specs before claiming that :-)

The error is the call to element.style.left = 10. The left property needs a unit to be correct according to CSS2 so the correct code would be element.style.left = "10px" (or "10mm"). If that is updated it should work in Mozilla.

The example at

http://developer.netscape.com/viewsource/goodman_cross/fish_new.htm

claims to be a W3C DOM compliant.

However, it only works in IE5. Does this mean that Netscape 6 is not W3C DOM compliant? Or does it mean the example is not W3C DOM compliant?
